The UK Ambassador in Ankara, Richard Moore, shared a photo
of a car on an Ankara street where asphalt had just been layed
down. The lone car on the street remained untouched by the
asphalt, prompting Moore to opine on Twitter: "the asphalt teams
in Ankara are very forgiving. If this had been the UK the car
would have been towed or covered with asphalt."
Soon after Moore's tweet a response came from a Turk named
Ferdi Sarımuratoğlu showing that, at least in Manchester, the
local asphalt teams are as forgiving as those in Ankara.
