In Kocaeli, a truck driver crashed his truck into the store which
sold him a defective telephone. Emre T. was angry after buying
the phone and getting no satisfaction from the store employees.
He left the store and, noticing some cars parked in front of the store,
told the owners to move them. ("I'll be back.")
Emre T. has signed a T-shirt deal like this one.
Next, Emre T. got into his truck and drove headlong into the
phone store, damaging the wall and sending the store employees
into a panic. Emre T. was taken into custody by the police.
Kocaeli is in the middle at the shore of the Gulf of İzmit.

Police hold Şakrak to make sure he doesn't slip on ice again.
A murder occurred in Konya on 5 January. İbrahim Şakrak (39)
(whose surname means 'vivacious') and his girlfriend Uzbek
Ranokhon Alıkhanova (35) were drinking in a house, along with
5 other people, two of whom were women. An argument erupted
between Şakrak and Alıkhanova because of jealousy.
Şakrak left the house but returned an hour later, saying he had
forgotten his telephone. When those inside wouldn't open the
door for Şakrak he began firing his gun wildly at the first-floor
apartment. One of the bullets hit Alıkhanova in the head and
she died at the hospital.
Ranokhon evidently a bit too vivacious for vivacious boyfriend.
Şakrak fled but was taken into custody the day before yesterday.
In his statement to police, Şakrak said that "I wanted Ranokhon to
come out of the house but they wouldn't let her. I was going
to fire into the air but by foot slipped on the ice and as I fell
I pulled the trigger by mistake." Şakrak was arrested.
